Autel BT508 does not have a screen! To perform testing and display test results, BT508 must be used with a smart device that runs iOS or Android (coming soon) APP.

1. Intelligent Adaptive Conductance Technology

Autel MaxiBAS BT508 has advanced adaptive conductance function, which can dynamically adjust the algorithm according to battery noise, voltage, and surface charge, accurately detect battery capacity and power to reduce the probability of misjudgment.

 

1). Reduce Battery Misdiagnosis: 

State statistics show that 50% of recycled batteries are good and only need to be recharged. Battery tester BT508 adopts adaptive conductance technology will improve diagnostics accuracy to 95.59%, higher than 92.06% of conductance profile.

 

2). Reduce Charge and Reset of Discharge Battery: 

Other competitive battery testers cannot conduct SOH test to identify discharge battery, which will lead to invalid reset and charge. Using adaptive conductance technology, the battery tester BT508 can quickly detect battery SOH, saving diagnostic wait time by 50%.

 

3). Diagnose Low Capacity Batteries: 

If the battery tester does not quickly identify the capacity status of the battery, there will be some misdiagnosis, which can lead to increased costs and wasted batteries. Battery tester Autel BT508 will improve bad detection rate to 63.55%, which is 15%(56.36%) faster than the battery tester using conductance profiling.

 

Compared to conductivity profiling, adaptive conductivity uses dynamic loads instead of fixed loads, which can be adjusted via in-vehicle environment, making battery diagnosis faster and more stable. Autel BT508 has same functions as Autel MaxiBAS BT608 on Cranking / Starter Test & Generator Test & Battery Test.

 

1). Cranking / Starter Test: 

Test 12V and 24V cranking/ charging systems for cranking Amps, engine cranking speed

 

2). Generator Test: 

Test generator systems for pipple, off-load voltage, load voltage current, load current, load capacity of the battery, etc.

 

3). Battery Test: 

Check Battery condition in-vehicle or out-vehicle

 

3. Battery Replacement Diagram Guide Step-by-Step:

With Autel MaxiBAS BT508 Battery Tester, you are allowed to perform whole battery change steps one by one:

 

1). Battery Type Suggestion: 

Checking battery real condition first and deter whether change battery

 

2). Save Battery Information: 

Save vehicle’s onboard data when vehicle’s battery is removed or disconnected

 

3). Replace The Battery: 

Replace the battery step by step as prompted

 

4). Register A New Battery: 

After replacing new battery, we need use BT508 connect battery and vehicle control module, registering this new battery into vehicle electrical system modules.

 

5). Choose Right Battery Information: 

Select the previously stored battery information

4. Auto Registration (after battery replacement)

Auto registration is often used after the successful installation of a new battery, including BMS reset and Electric appliance reset.

 

After registration of new battery, it can perform vehicle systems initialization to reset the components.

 

5. All System Diagnosis

6. VCI Manager: 

VCI Manager is for connecting Autel MaxiBAS BT508 with a VCI device via Bluetooth. This option allows you to pair the tester with the VCI device, check the communication status, and upgrade the VCI firmware.

 

7. BAS Manager

BAS Manager allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to check and update the firmware version.

 

8. Battery Location Diagram

You can freely view the battery position on the screen and pinpoint the battery position.

 

9. Repair Reports

Battery Test APP can save history scan reports from your diagnostic sessions. A PDF can also be generated for the easy viewing, sharing, and printing of these reports.

 

10. Data Logging: 

The Data Logging option allows you to launch the Autel Support platform to view all recordings on the diagnostic system. The Data Logging option keeps all test records, whether submitted (Feedback) or not submitted (Not Feedback), in addition to a history of your most recent 20 test records (History). Autel support team will receive and process any submitted reports through the Support platform.
